drinking water cartridge
For a refreshing drinking experience. Use our Active filter cartridge not only to enhance the taste of your drinking water, but at the same time reduce pollutants that our tap water often carries.
Inside the cartridge there is a sintered activated carbon core which is able to filter chlorine, organic pollutants, various medicinal residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, aromas and fine particles (rust, lime flakes, sand). In addition, bland and chlorine taste impairments in the water are effectively neutralized.
Against bad taste and smells
High-quality Alb coconut block activated carbon absorbs annoying odours (chlorine, CHC's, CFC's, etc.) and impairs taste in drinking water.
filtration of heavy metals
The absorbing effect of activated carbon binds heavy metals such as lead and copper in drinking water.
Reduction of pesticides and drug residues
Organic compounds such as pesticide residues, herbicides, insecticides, drug residues, hormones and hormone-like substances can be reduced.
Filtration of microplastics
Due to the ultrafine structure of the sintered activated carbon, microscopically small plastic particles are reliably retained.
Made in Germany
Design, manufacturing and construction in southern Germany on the Swabian Alb.
Maximum 4 months - depending on the quality of the input water.
In detail: How does Active work?
Filtration according to the example of nature
Activated carbon from the shell of the coconut
The minerals remain in the drinking water
Alb Filter coconut activated carbon filters odor, taste and color changes in water. It can also reduce pharmaceutical residues and related pollutants as well as chlorine and fluorides. For comparison: The inner surface of four grams of activated carbon is sometimes equal to the area of a football field and thus has a lot of absorption surface to bind pollutants from your water.
Activated carbon as monoblock
Surface of a football field
The ideal solution for your drinking water treatment. Normal bulk activated carbon, which is often found in comparable water filters, does not offer sufficient protection against pollutants, germs and bacteria. Therefore we at Alb Filter use a pressed activated carbon monobloc with a fineness of 10 µm.
In comparison: table-top filter vs. professional processing
Our sintered coconut activated carbon, as we use it for our Alb filter solution, differs fundamentally from table-top or can filters, which improve the water taste and partly optically slightly, but remove pollutants only to a small extent. The high-quality active block activated carbon has a very high adsorption capacity. For example, lead, copper, drug residues or hormone-like substances are removed.
