A guide to content creation
Hello,
We are delighted that you would like to produce individual content for us. We are very grateful for the creative input we have already received and are always delighted to see how imaginatively our Alb Filter products are presented.
Before you get started, please read through this short guide. We want to point out common mistakes in advance and save you and us work afterwards.
Alb Filter is all about water, or more precisely, the treatment of water.
Installed in kitchens, bathrooms or campers, our filters provide highly efficient protection against sediment, pollutant residues, pathogens, turbidity and taste without the use of chemicals. A connection to the element of water is therefore often a good idea. Be it a person drinking water, tea or coffee, the Alb filter connected to a water hose or even just a landscape that can give the customer an impression of what these products are all about.
We are looking for a mixture of aesthetic, beautifully composed shots and the real life of a water filter. In other words, the high-quality look and feel of the water filter should also be reflected in the images, but an old, well-traveled filter housing can also have great charm when staged correctly.
Here are some inspirations of what has worked well so far and what mistakes you can easily avoid.
If you have any questions, please contact us at any time!

You should pay attention to this

Application error
Always use the product as described in the instructions. Photos in which the product is used incorrectly often cannot be used at all or can only be used with a great deal of post-processing. Video recordings with incorrectly applied products are usually no longer usable.
Image 1: The water filter was connected the wrong way round. Always pay attention to the small arrows with the water flow direction when connecting the filter. The filter will then be seen the wrong way round in the picture, e.g. on the camper. This is correct! It should also be noted that the Protect pre-filter is always installed in the first position.
Fig. 2: The filter is used correctly in the direction of water flow.

Exposure error
Make sure the exposure is correct. Severely underexposed images and videos will start to look noisy more quickly when corrected. Overexposed images lose details in the highlights. In both cases, the dynamic range is reduced at the expense of details, sharpness and color representation.

Image 2: Visible loss of sharpness and color artifacts after correction.

Avoid unfavorable lighting situations
The reflective properties of stainless steel are very characteristic due to its smooth surface. This means that every point of light, but also every dark element, is reflected as a line on the material. The larger the light source or the dark areas, the wider the line. If the lighting conditions or illumination are incorrect, this can quickly lead to a "zebra effect" and a rather dark, negative overall impression.
Image 1: Dark environments create harsh contrasts and many dark reflections. Avoid spot lighting and the use of mixed light ("blue" daylight and "yellow" artificial light) if possible!
Image 2: Bright environments (daylight, bright walls, no additional spot lighting) create a nice, even illumination of the filter.
Color correction

We are happy if you edit your photo set with a uniform, simple color correction. You are also welcome to provide us with your material in your own editing style. We often cannot use photos/videos that are too alienated.
Good:
Image 1: Unedited footage
Image 2: Simple color correction or photos in your look
We tend not to be able to use:
Image 3: Heavily alienated footage (distorted colors, strong noise, high contrasts,...)
