Why is regular tank cleaning important?

Regardless of the type of water filter, regular tank cleaning is important to ensure water quality and prevent the formation of bacteria and deposits. A clean tank ensures that all subsequent filter methods work more effectively. Clean the tank before using a water filter and then at regular intervals (at least every 6 months)*.

Our "Alb Clean" cleaning agent is available for quick and easy cleaning. It couldn't be simpler: fill up with water, clean with cleaner, leave to work for 2 hours, done. Another advantage - if you now pump the fresh water into the gray water tank via the tap, this is cleaned at the same time.

* When using the Alb Filter Mobil Fusion Set in a new or well-maintained water system, regular tank cleaning is generally not necessary. The prerequisite is a thorough tank cleaning before the first use and subsequent consistent use of both filter stages with each filling. In this way, pollutants and germs are filtered out before the tank and no biofilm forms. It is recommended that the tank is checked regularly and that it is cleaned again if there are signs of contamination.
