The Alb Filter® PROTECT module is available in 2 variants - stainless steel and aluminum.
The variants have different connection threads and are NOT compatible.
Please make sure before purchasing whether you have a stainless steel or aluminum housing and then select the variant suitable for your product:
Variant 1: Stainless steel
With a stainless steel housing , please select the STAINLESS STEEL version. The stainless steel housing can be recognized by the black Alb Filter logo and two external threads on the filter body.

Description
The Protect pre-filter module is compatible with our Element housing and can also be retrofitted if required. Please note the corresponding variant for your system.
The Protect is installed at the inlet of the Alb filter. The pre-filter pad effectively protects the installed filter cartridges from coarse residues such as rust, sand, dirt and other particles.
With a fineness of 40 µm and a high flow rate, the Protect extension offers excellent protection and extends the service life of downstream filter cartridges.
Note:
The pad should be replaced every two to three months, depending on the water quality, in order to achieve the best possible result.
