Good tank hygiene is essential when traveling with a camper or caravan. Regular tank cleaning is the be-all and end-all. Our fresh water tank cleaner with active oxygen gently removes odor-causing substances, light grease stains and limescale deposits and restores the water tank to a hygienic condition.

Cleans in an environmentally friendly way!

The oxygen and mineral-based cleaner makes your water tank shine even without the use of artificial additives. It removes odor-causing substances and light grease stains. Even porous surfaces are restored to their original shine after use. The citric acid it contains also removes limescale and calcium deposits.

Tip: Pour the water into the gray water tank after use and leave it there for a further 2 hours to ensure that it also benefits from the cleaning process.

Simple dosing

Dosing is child's play with the enclosed measuring spoon (30 g). For a 100-liter tank, you need 5 units of the measuring spoon - a total of 150 g Clean Tank Cleaner. A 100-liter tank can be cleaned a good 3 times with one can. You will find a dosage table under Application.

Application

Water tank application:

If a water filter is in use, please remove the cartridges from the filter housing before use.

Fill the fresh water tank completely with water. Add approx. 30 g Alb Filter® Clean fresh water tank cleaner (1 measuring spoon) per 20 liters of water. Allow the resulting solution to work in the tank and pipes for 2 hours. After the contact time, pump the solution into the gray water tank. If it remains there for 2 hours, the gray water tank will also benefit from the cleaning. After the cleaning process, you can refill the fresh water tank directly with drinking water.

Water hose application:

Mix a small amount of water with the appropriate dosage of tank cleaner. Dose approx. 15 g Alb Filter® Clean fresh water tank cleaner (½ measuring spoon) per 10 l of water. Pour into the hose and close both ends. Leave to work for 2 hours. After the reaction time, connect to the tap and rinse out.

Note:

On contact with water, the cleaner breaks down into oxygen and minerals. The residues are harmless, so rinsing is not necessary. If there are any changes in taste due to mineral residues, you can rinse the tank again.

Attention:
Overpressure may occur during use. Please ensure that the air is vented.

Before starting installation, connect the water supply line to the corresponding fitting.
Unscrew the cold water supply hose from your angle valve to the fitting.
Screw a second Flex hose connection onto the angle valve (included in the complete set and complete set with quick-release couplings).
Then attach the filter housing (ELEMENT or FUSION) between the flex hose connection from the angle valve and the supply line to the fitting.
Use an adapter if necessary.
Open the water supply pipe at the angle valve.
Slowly open the tap and let the water run through the filter for 20 seconds to activate the cartridge for operation. (Fusion: When activating the Active cartridge, the Nano cartridge must not )
