Alb Shungite shower filter
For youthful freshness
The 600 million year old black shungite rock consists of hollow spherical fullerenes and is often referred to as the "fountain of youth" in anti-ageing research. Shungite is still relatively little researched, but is said to have a positive influence on the skin's ageing process1. The properties of shungite are based on the experience of many users and the effect is still largely unexplored!
In addition to absorption and catalytic properties, shungite also has bactericidal properties2. The number of microbes in water filtered with shungite can be up to twelve times lower than in conventionally filtered water, reducing turbidity and foreign odors.
The water filter is installed between the tap and the shower hose and is basically ready for immediate use. Bathrooms with concealed taps may require a spacer. Further information on installing the filter can be found here.

What does the cartridge do?
Binding of free radicals
Due to its molecular structure, shungite is said to be able to absorb and bind free radicals, which are partly responsible for the skin's ageing process.
Adsorptive, catalytic and bactericidal
Studies by Krutous and Rysev, Khadartsev3 attribute high adsorptive, catalytic and bactericidal activity to shungite.
Pure shungite
Made from 100 % pure shungite coal granulate from Karelia.

Installation
- Unscrew the shower hose from your fitting.
- Screw the filter housing to the fitting with the filter cartridge inserted (note the flow direction marked with an arrow and IN).
- Screw the shower hose to the lower end of the filter.
- The shower filter is ready for use.
Detailed instructions, for example on installing and changing the cartridge, can be found on our website in the installation instructions section or in the installation instructions supplied.
Further installation help- Before starting installation, connect the water supply line to the corresponding fitting.
- Unscrew the cold water supply hose from your angle valve to the fitting.
- Screw a second Flex hose connection onto the angle valve (included in the complete set and complete set with quick-release couplings).
- Then attach the filter housing (ELEMENT or FUSION) between the flex hose connection from the angle valve and the supply line to the fitting.
- Use an adapter if necessary.
- Open the water supply pipe at the angle valve.
- Slowly open the tap and let the water run through the filter for 20 seconds to activate the cartridge for operation. (Fusion: When activating the Active cartridge, the Nano cartridge must not )

For bathrooms with concealed fittings or classic wall connections
Does your bathroom have a concealed fitting or a classic wall connection? Then you may need a spacer to attach the filter.
To be able to install the filter directly, you need a minimum distance of 35 mm between the wall and the water outlet. If the distance is less, the spacer is required.
