Why can the pre-filter be useful?

In certain installation situations (old buildings, etc.), pipe deposits, sand, sediment, rust, particles or suspended matter can clog the individual hollow fiber membranes of the Nano cartridge much more quickly and reduce the service life of the filter cartridge. The replaceable 40 µm pre-filter cap (pat.) ensures coarse pre-filtration and increases the service life.
