Alb Pro Camper
Two-stage drinking water treatment with separate filter stages
Travel without restrictions by combining a mobile and travel set. For larger water tanks from 120 liters, it makes sense to implement water treatment in a combination of refueling from the outside and with a fixed installation after the water tank. In this case, our Alb Filter Active and Protect pre-filter are used to filter those substances from the outside that can no longer be reproduced. In addition, the Alb Filter Nano - germ barrier downstream of the water tank protects against possible contamination by pathogens and bacteria in the water tank.
Area of application

The stainless steel housing
Made from high-quality V4A stainless steel
The robust and durable stainless steel housing is free of harmful substances, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, germ-resistant and odorless and tasteless.
Two housings, two cartridges
The first filter housing accommodates the Active cartridge for broadband pollutant filtration. The Nano germ barrier is used in the second, permanently installed filter stage. Together they offer maximum protection and guarantee the best drinking water quality.
Modular filter housing
The housing has a modular design and can be converted into a Fusion double-stage filter with the optional Connect module. With the appropriate adapters, the housing can also be installed in the household on the Under-sink or in the shower.
10-year guarantee
Our high-quality stainless steel housing comes with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee.
Produced in southern Germany
Our water filters are manufactured in southern Germany and are subject to Alb Filter's high standards in terms of quality and durability.
Separate filter stages for maximum safety.

First + second filter stage: Protect pre-filter and Active broadband filter
The first two filter stages filter sand, coarse sediment and organic compounds upstream of the tank. This promotes tank hygiene and makes tank cleaning easier.

Third filter stage: Nano germ filter
The last filter stage is permanently installed just after the pump or directly before the water is drawn off. In contrast to organic pollutants, germs and bacteria can multiply in the tank. With its microscopically fine pores, the mechanical nano cartridge not only filters 99.999 % of all harmful germs and bacteria out of the water, but also reliably retains all microplastic particles larger than 0.1 µm.
Recommended pressure requirement: 2.1 bar

With Protect pre-filter
The fine pores of the installed cartridges can easily become clogged with particles such as sediment, rust and sand. With the replaceable, sintered PP fleece with a fineness of 40 µm, the Protect pre-filter extension offers reliable protection and increases the service life of the subsequent cartridge.

Ready to go
The set includes all the connections you need for installing the filling filter and permanent installation. All plug connections and hoses are DVGW-certified, food-safe and 100% compatible with Gardena.
The GEKA® quick couplings (DVGW) with integrated backflow stop, specially developed for Alb filters for permanent installation, can be easily integrated into your existing hose system thanks to the stepped spout (10 - 13 mm).

Wall bracket included!
Use the wall bracket included in the set to permanently mount the second filter stage in the vehicle. This can be fixed to almost any wall with two screws. For a quick filter change , open the locking screw and remove the entire filter housing.

What is filtered?
Protection against bacteria and microorganisms
The main focus of the Nano cartridge is the filtration of germs and bacteria in high concentrations, e.g. E-Coli, Vibrio Cholarae, Shigella, Salmonella.
Microplastics and other tiny particles
Thanks to the microscopically fine hollow fibers of the nano cartridge, even the smallest particles down to a size of 0.1 µm are reliably retained.
Pesticides and pharmaceutical residues
Organic compounds such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, drug residues, hormones and hormone-like substances are reduced.
Chlorine and other odor and taste impairments
The high-quality block activated carbon absorbs unpleasant odors (chlorine, CHCs, CFCs, etc.) and impairs the taste of drinking water.
Heavy metals such as lead and copper
The adsorbing effect of activated carbon binds and reduces heavy metals in drinking water.
Protection against legionella
The Nano cartridge provides reliable protection against legionella and other microorganisms. Whether as a preventative measure or in the event of a positive legionella finding.
Active
Binds odors and pollutants
The strong surface forces (adhesion) of the activated carbon remove unwanted turbidity and odors such as chlorine as well as organic compounds and pollutants from the water. These include pharmaceutical residues, hormones, pesticides/pesticides, perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS), etc.

Nano
Stops germs and bacteria
Inside our nano cartridge is a hollow fiber membrane. This membrane consists of many interconnected hollow fibers, similar to bundled straws. Due to their small diameter of 0.1 µm, these hollow fiber tubes are able to reliably retain pathogens such as bacteria and microplastics and other particles.

1 Average values - The capacity of the cartridge depends on the quality of the input water.
2 Average values at 3 bar water pressure.
3 Filter performance depends on the flow rate.

Filling filter installation
The first two filter stages are installed between the hose and filler neck during the filling process. Please clean your tank system before using it for the first time.

- Install the housing including cartridges and Protect module as described in the enclosed instructions.
- Attach the tap and appliance plugs to the housing.
- Connect the housing on the inlet side to an existing (Gardena) hose.
- Connect the short piece of hose supplied to the outlet of the filter housing.
- Slowly open the water inlet. Fine activated carbon dust is rinsed out and can cloud the water gray for a few seconds. Drain the water. The Alb filter is now ready for use.
- Before starting installation, connect the water supply line to the corresponding fitting.
- Unscrew the cold water supply hose from your angle valve to the fitting.
- Screw a second Flex hose connection onto the angle valve (included in the complete set and complete set with quick-release couplings).
- Then attach the filter housing (ELEMENT or FUSION) between the flex hose connection from the angle valve and the supply line to the fitting.
- Use an adapter if necessary.
- Open the water supply pipe at the angle valve.
- Slowly open the tap and let the water run through the filter for 20 seconds to activate the cartridge for operation. (Fusion: When activating the Active cartridge, the Nano cartridge must not )
-> Please read the supplied installation instructions before installation.
Installation Built-in filter
The third filter stage (nano germ barrier) is installed after the water tank and in the pressure stage of the pump. If the filter is installed directly behind the pump, as shown in the diagram, all the water (e.g. kitchen tap, hot water, shower, toilet) is filtered accordingly. If you only want to filter the water from one tapping point (e.g. kitchen tap), install the water filter just before this tapping point. Note the length of the filter including the GEKA quick connectors to find a suitable location for installation.

- Find a suitable place to install the filter (between the pump and tap)
- Cutting through the existing hose system
- Slip the two pipe clamps onto the hose ends.
- Attach the two GEKA® hose connectors (10-13 mm stepped nozzles)
- Positioning and tightening the pipe clamps
- Mounting the wall bracket
- Inserting the filter cartridge(s) in the filter housing
- Inserting the Travel water filter incl. appliance and tap plug into the wall bracket
- Connecting to the hose connectors
You can find more information on the subject of installation on our website under the heading Installation instructions or in the installation instructions supplied.
